Viburnum opulus shohin

Today I trimmed, wired and repotted one of my favourite shohins - this guelder rose (viburnum opulus) which has been grown in ground since 2003 and trained in pot since 2006.

Dnes jsem stihl přesadit, prostříhat a natvarovat tuto kalinu, kterou pěstujeme již od roku 2003 na záhoně a od roku 2006 v misce.

2012

New pot (with its fine shape and colour) finally brought a sought balance tree/pot, so now I can be pleased with the overall look of the composition. Viburnum is good grower, hardy and quite unpretending tree - features which make it a promising species for bonsai. Below, there are a couple of more shots of the actual look. What do you think about the new pot?

Barva i tvar nové misky ke stromu vhodně pasují tak, že můžu být s celkovým dojmem strom/miska konečně spokojen. Kalina je jinak velmi vděčný druh vhodný pro bonsaje díky své nenáročnosti, odolnosti i vcelku rychlému růstu. Několik dalších fotek aktuálního stavu tohoto shohinu níže.
