Winter in Northern Moravia

So, here we go, winter time! In last weeks of the arctic frosts all around Europe we also suffered some really cold moments - the record at our place was around -25 °C - but luckily we have had enough snow to cover tree´s pots, if not all the trees, so we hope there will be no substantial damage on trees. But a couple of days ago the heavy frosts stopped and it started to snow heavily instead - more than half a meter just in two days! On the photos below you can have look how it looks like in our garden now...

Tak už tu máme tu pravou zimu! V období silných mrazů u nás rtuť teploměru spadla až k -25 °C, naštěstí jsme měli aspoň tolik sněhu, abychom mohli zaházet misky a stromy ve studeném skleníku - snad se tedy na jaře neobjeví žádné větší škody. Před pár dny mrazy povolily, aby hned napadlo víc než půl metru sněhu - takže takhle to teď u nás vypadá...
